Giacomo Mantovani built his reputation in the commercial field producing top-notch and creative projects for well-established clients including Rio Tinto, Nothing, Nokia, OnePlus, Logitech and Expedia.

As an independent, award-winning filmmaker, director, and photographer, Giacomo has produced acclaimed short films like ‘Plastic Garbage – Scourge of the Seas’ and ‘Lightning’, both shot entirely on smartphones. His dedication to the medium made him an ambassador for mobile filmmaking and photography, leading him to host a series of panels and masterclasses.

In 2023 Giacomo donated the single-edition print ‘LCKDN20 - National Gallery F04’ to the National Gallery in London. LCKDN20 is possibly the most comprehensive photographic documentation of the abandoned streets in London during lockdown in the Covid-19 pandemic, shot on medium format film.
